I have always been pretty creative. I often will find something that inspires me when out in nature and find a way to re-create the beauty that I see. I started painting with watercolors again while on maternity leave with my youngest son. I fell in love with the way watercolors flow and blend together. They can be transparent or opaque depending on technique. Nature provides so much inspiration and I feel truly honored to get to re-create the beauty it provides.
